Anyone ever see this tyre before?

Pure off-road use only. SAS tires?

Reminds me of the old sand tires that were on Series. They're in Kiev, so they'll have things we've never seen before, I suppose....

        Yes

I've seen it on some small heavy equipment pieces and overseas. ( I worked for CAT years ago.) This is strictly an off-road tire.

Goodyear G90- as Ike said George @ RDS has them on special mounted on 110 rims. They can be used on the road and are an approved light truck radial in the US and Canada.

Where did you guys get off road only ?

Maryland are you using this tire for your truck? If so how is the road noise?
            Looks nice and skinny too.

Goodyear doesn't normally sell them in the US. Similar to Michelin XZL's. UK vendors occasionally stock those as well.

Goodyear G90s were stock fitment to the Wolves for the MOD. I'm not sure if they still are as I have not kept up with the latest versions.

IIRC like many things they suited the purpose of the military but are considerd merely OK off road tyres in the civilian world with 'interesting' road manners. Remember MOD trucks are not supposed to travel at much more than 50mph.

No I'm running the new BFG Mud TA KM2's in 285.75.16's. I don't think the tire is available commercially in that size yet. I got a set of 5 off a guy who had worked wth BFG on devloping the new tread design and had a container full of them. Here's what they look like on my 110- the truck has about 3-4 inch lift so the tires don't look big. I like them a lot !
