    sIIa windscreen fixing assem.

I'm wondering what came stock to lock down the windscreen on an early sIIa. Were they regular nuts or wingnuts?

early trucks got wing nuts, later ones got tapered hex nuts with plastic caps.

Thanks, Ike. Would my '67 be considered early? And more importantly, which kind of fixing would be easier to acquire?

My '67 has the nuts & caps. Not sure if it's the same as the SIII assembly RN sells...

My first 65 had nuts and caps as does my 64 or that is what came with my current Rover but I'm not sure when the wing nuts disappeared and the regular nuts appeared. I don't think a S3 hold down will work.

67 has nuts and caps, but you could get the wing nuts. I like the wingnuts. I have either type if you need some.
