Hello All-
Went out this morning to run the rover and I noticed that someone stole my orginal plates it came over with. I do not lock it and they were behind my seat. Does anyone know where I could have them replaced..( stamped etc. )

That's a great site--You can get customized old license plates to match your year of manufacture. Makes me wish I had $70 to squander. Heck, that's more than I paid for my real registration and plates, but still, VERY COOL.

Man it hacks me off to hear someone did that. I was planning on adding a set from my first truck to the one I'm building. I may rivet them on after hearing this story. At least they'd have to have a drill :D

Cheap plates, sharp edges, loosing their fingertips discourages light fingers.

I'm very hesitant to type this, but I've had my UK plates on for the full 5 years that I've owned this particular Rover, and 2 of those years I lived in a place where everything not chained down or welded gets stolen. I've had no trouble with my plates. The front one is just held on with plastic screws and nuts. The rear was glued to the rear body by the previous UK owner.

Obviously, your results may vary...
