He actually loves the rover more, but I won't turn him lose in it yet.

Great pic Travis. I don't blame you on worrying about ever turning over the keys, I've thought of the same thing (!).

What is the car your little one is sitting in? Reminds me of a MGB (I think). I don't know my british cars beyond LRs.

Its an Austin Healey 100-4, but they didn't call it a 100-4 until the 100-6 came out. My 100-4 (long sold off...) was a white/red RHD BN1(?) three speed/OD. My first RHD vehicle, too.

Jack,

Thanks. He's pretty funny about the cars. In fact, one of his first words was car. Guess the apple did'nt fall far from the tree.

Good eye Bob, it is a 100-4. This one is a '54 which makes it a BN1 like yours. Why did you sell it?

Great photo of a cute kid!

The BN1 was the purest of the Austin Healeys, too.

wow. i like it. especially the low slung windscreen. did a search online and looks like they have become a bit pricey with age. so i won't be adding to my car collection (currently a IIA and a very rare Saturn SL1 4 door ;)

I sold my 100-4 for pure profit.... I think I made $800.00 on it when I sold it, way back in '75 or '76..... Can't keep em all..... I still have my TR-3, bought in '70. The wife has a '67 BJ8, but it has a soft chassis and needs a frameover.

Great pic man!

I dont know what it is about kids and old cars. I couldnt keep my kids out of my SIII when they were younger and my son would use my 91 D1 as a jungle gym by climbing up the spare tire and playing on the roof rack.

I used to scold him for being up there as i didnt want to see him fall on the asphalt, but every time i caught him up there i had to laugh.

Young kids dont seem too intrested in the newer cars though from what i have experienced...
