I need to mig a patch forward of the rear shackle but I'm worried about my harness. What's the easiest way to protect it?

Thanks,

Tom

Tie a piece of wire to the rear end of it, pull the harness back into the frame enough to clear the area. When you're done, use the piece of wire to pull the harness back into place.

I'm not sure I can un-hook all of the wires as I have the military trailer hook up. Do the rest of the wires come off at the lights with bullet connections?

Thanks

Yes, all the lights should have connectors so they can be removed from the main harness.

You could bend a piece of wire and position it inside the frame to hold the harness away from the area you are welding

Or...You could let it fry, then you have an excuse to tell your significant other that you "need" a new harness!
