Getting closer to switching to a Rochester B from a Weber 34 ICH and have two questions so far:

1) What spacer and space do you use between the Rochester and the manifold? The Weber has a 1/2" spacer between it and the manifold, and the Rochester rebuild kit has a 1/8" gasket/spacer. I've read TeriAnn's explanation of what to use but can't understand what the ultimate distance between the carb and manifold should be...(BTW, huge props to TeriAnn for her fantastic site)

2) Where does the vacuum line connect? Guessing its the threaded hole to the right of the mixture screw in the base - is that correct?

Thanks!

Can't answer either of your questions as my Rochester came with the truck and I have no vacuum lines off the carb but I found the manual scaned on this site yesterday, came in quite helpful on my rebuild last night.
