Does anyone know where I can find a set of brushes for the Lucas wiper motors? One of them is gone in one of my wipers, and the brush holder is acting as the conductor causing some heavy wear.

Try a "good" hardware store. By good, I mean a Mom & Pop type, a marine location, the one with stuff from floor to ceiling, or the one you know will always have something you need to fix a situation. The big box and chain stores just don't cover your bases...

You'll probably have to file them to the appropriate size/length, and to fit the holder, but they're a lot softer than a mill file...

I would suggest going to a to an alternator shop and match the other one you have against their selection, should cost you a dollar maybe a dollar fifty. You need to get a 12V low speed carbon brushes, AC motor bushes won't be the right type.
