I finished re building my 2.25 engine now i want to store it in a safe manner.has anyone built a wooden cradle ? if so could you share the plans? thank you jack

i've no plans but i simply took some 1x12 and made a box the size of the oil pan flange. screwd it together w/ drywall screws. this was for a spitfire 1500. the oil pan just fits inside. if i was doing it for my 2.25 i'd probably use 2x12

You could always buy an engine stand from your local HF. 60 bucks or so, and you'd have one for the next time you rebuild.

Thanks i do have an angine stand and it worked fine now i want to install the flywheel housing etc. i made a box out of 2x10 fir and made a cutout for the flywheel hsng im working out of a 10x12 shed so space is limited for parts storage

mine's on the stand now. when i get ready to reinstall i'll put the fly wheel & housing on while it hangs from th lift.
