advice on plugging the leaks 2a 109

Hello,
Want to start stopping the leaks on my 109 ..the santana overdrive leaks and so does the main gearbox can i get gaskets for these or can i just use
some sealant for this and get the leaks to stop??

Hi Greg,
What I would do is buy some engine de-greaser and find out where the leaks are and how bad they are. I would think that it would be the seals in the over-drive and seals in the trans, which means that at least some of it will have to come apart. If its a gasket leak check the bolts and see if they are loose, if they are snug them up, if it still leaks it will need to have a new gasket and gasket sealer applied to a clean surface.
