    steering linkage & relay unit?

    can the oil seals be replaced while this unit is still in the front cross member?

      cool, it looked like you coud just take of the upper and lower relay levers and pry out then slide on new seals. is that how you did it?

        I believe I removed the end caps and did the seals on the bench.
        I think on the bottom side there is a sheet metal cover around the relay that has to come off first?

          I had one I could never keep oil in, no matter what I did, so I took it out and drilled a 1/8" hole down the center of the shaft, and a hole in from the side, halfway bewteen the two tapers, then put a zerk in the top and filled it with grease. Was smooth as silk, and no more water getting in either.
