Emergency Brake Stuck...need help!

Morning! Dan went to go to Baltimore this morning in the Rover. She started fine, but the emergency brake is stuck somehow. Any ideas for things to check?

Repair proceedure #1. Back off the adjuster and then wail on the brake drum with a soft faced hammer or a normal hammer with a block of wood in between.

Then look at the linkage to make sure it is all present, correct and free. If that doesn't do it then its off with the brake drum.
