I'm a bit confused as to why there is a $1400 dollar price diff between a 109 & an 88 inch frame...21 inches, a cross member, a few brackets........=$1400 bux...

Rarity? Space consumed in container? I am sure there is a good reason - just go with it. If you want it bad enough it is worth it - I think anyway - and I am not rich.

Have you checked the clearance items of our host? I thought I saw 109 galv chasis for $2,600.
