Radio/Windsheild wiper/washer trouble

My wife's 2002 Discovery II has suddenly developed yet another quirk....driving along the radio, windshield wipers, and windshield washer suddenly stop working. A bit later, they start up again. I know these don't share the same fuse. However, do they share a common connector or gound point?
I have the shop manuals, but I don't have any electrical diagrams so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check your battery first, low voltage will cause weird issues.

Bump....
The saga continues....
The same problem and my wife figured out she could turn on the rear
wiper and everything would start working....until today.

Any ideas??

Why can't the British keep fluids in their cars and electricity flowing from point A to point B?? :confused:
