OK, here's the before pics of the NADA. Much like my thread on the '72 Series III 88, I took before pics to document the condition before I give the truck a thorough detailing. I'll post the "after" pics when I finish it up here in a couple weeks, before it goes up for sale. If anyone is interested in a solid NADA, please let me know! Frame is rust-free, bulkhead looks good. It has a little exterior rust on some of the body panels, but no significant rust in any of the critical areas. There's some pretty good surface rust just below the radiator, but it looks worse than it really is. Truck runs really well...just adjusted the valves, and I'll be performing a tune-up as well. Just have to replace a front wheel cylinder, and the mechanical work will be over. Anyways, on to the pics...

Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what the truck might be worth after I get it cleaned up? Low book is about $9500, but that seems high?

Brad, there is a 66 109 NADA for sale at a collectible car dealer down the road from me. It is in some ways nicer ( cosmetically) but it also shows some troubling signs. I looked it over pretty well. Anyway he's asking $28000. I'm not saying he will get that, but this guy has been in the same business for over 40 years ( http://www.stableltd.com/new.aspx ) and has sold quite a few rovers so I have to believe he knows a thing or two.

Wow. I will say this...if the truck is truly worth that, then someone is going to get one hell of a deal, because I have no intentions of asking anywhere remotely that much money for it. The cosmetics of the truck look rough right now, but honestly it is extremely dirty and in need of a thorough paint refurbish and interior detailing, and I think it will look 100% better. Other than that, the truck is truly very solid and totally complete...not to mention it comes with a complete spare engine and other extra parts.
