Problem in Rain

As usual this time of year, my D90 is topless. I got caught in a short cloudburst this afternoon and the engine quit. It would start but only run for about a second. We went and had a lobster roll. When we were done, whatever had gotten wet had dried out and all was well.

Any idea what the problem could be? Any suggested fix?
