Greetings,
Wanted to know how hard it is to adjust valves, wanted to get ECR in maine to do it but was told they do not have time for series anymore.....
are there any owner beware things i should know?? is it straight foward and easy op to do?

this helped me the first several times I did it...not hard, just follow the instructions and don't be afraid to go back in and do it again and again until it's correct. I'm an inept newbe and my valves are quiet.

It's an easy job, you just need the hand crank, a feeler guage, a wrench and a screwdriver. ECR does truck builds and restorations, not basic maintenance.

I don't know where you are in Maine but if you don't want to do it yourself try Matt Browne at Overland Engineering in Eliot 450-2187 or if you are closer to Bangor call Elite Auto on Hammond Street in Bangor 990-4314. Make sure you have a new valve cover gasket no matter which way you go. If you want to learn give me a call, 989-1986 and bring it to Brewer or once my Rover gets back I'd be willing to come to you.
