Right, I see SWB and LWB thrown all over the place on different forum boards and I thought I knew what it stood for but I've come to realize I'm not so sure. The only vehicles that I've been able to figure out are labeled this way are the Range Rover Classic 1987-1995 which is the SWB and then the Range Rover Classic 1993-1995 which is the LWB. I see LWB and SWB all over the place in reference to Series II, IIA, and III. Is it just kinda slang for an 88" being a Short Wheel Base (SWB) and a 109" being a Long Wheel Base (LWB)?

I don't want to be ignorant forever! :o

the backseat of the LWB is like sitting in your living room.

The back of my SWB is like hanging out in a greasy workshop.

And the back of my LWB is like staying in a small motel room with kitchen facilities. Home is where I pop the top.
