before I put my rover on the road I waxoyled the new frame. I am working on doing a little cleaning of the truck. One thing with the waxoyl is that it is hard to clean grit off of. I would like to clean it up and then recoat. What is the best way to clean sand / grit from waxoyl traeted frame>

The best way would be to let someone else do it!
Actually I have been removing waxoyl from my frame so I know something about it. I think your best bet is to live with the grit that can't simply be washed off since if you try to remove it you will compromise the waxoyl coating.

The nature of Waxoyl will make it hold some dirt and grit, you are just going to have to live with it. It will only be shiny and black until the first time you take it down the road.
