Say you asked Santa "Santa, Id like another Land Rover", and he said, "Sure, Little Boy, Ill bring it Christmas Day and park it in front of your house. title will be on the Front Seat, EnjoY"

Would you want a spanking new Range Rover.....or a 48 Pre Production....or maybe a ratty but running 107? Or...would you prefer the 107 to be so clean you could eat off of it? Maybe a nasty veteran 80 trials vehicle? Would you prefer the 80 to be museum quality instead, with spotless paint and a sweet purring 1.6 litre engine, Or, a fully outfitted Defender, ready for the Rocky Mountains? Or would you say..."Santa, just take mine and make it like new".

Definately a Defender 130 4 door pick up including a 3/4 soft top with a snorkled 300 TDi. Totally set up to go wherever, whenever. A nice Brownchurch rack with 4 Hella Hid's would be great too. Oh and a high amp alternator and dual Oddesey batteries with a National Luna charging system.. And an Engel fridge/freezer... and an Eezi-awn series 3 1400.

I really don't want another Rover because I really like mine. I would just ask Santa to leave the stuff I need/want to finish it.

I'd just have Santa do a little work on mine...Santa please give me some new wiring and finish this 24v to 12v conversion for me with all new, working gauges...aftermarket are fine since I'm not counting rivets with this one. Thanks Santa!

Any Rover restored by jac04.
This is one of the best compliments I have ever had. Thank you very much.

Oh, by the way, my Lightweight project will be finishing up this winter. If any 'Santas' out there are looking to deliver a nice Lightweight just let me know and I'll make sure it's finished in time for Christmas delivery. :thumb-up:

Thanks Santa but I'd rather just have a 3 bay garage, with 20' ceilings. One bay with a lift. Outfitted with a bead blaster, welder, spray booth, galvanizing dip tank large enough to dip a chassis, and all the other necessary accouterments I'm forgetting to mention right now. Nothing much just a little garage.:D That or I'd opt for Ronnie to be fixed up a bit.

Ditto!

But if it must be just a Land Rover then I would say that I would be interested in an original fully outfitted Pink Panther (even if it was green).

Along with the full reports and stories of its best missions.

Like Jim and a couple others here I'm blessed with the perfect Land Rover.

I wouldn't turn down the completion of a couple projects, fresh paint and interior. What's not to love about a 1960 two door Dormobile that's shared my life for almost 31 years.

Hmmm...... decisions, decisions......

A Pink Panther would be on the short list, but so would a Tickford. A '48 pre-pro is a good thought too. Or, how about the actual 'Antichrist' SI from the Gods Must Be Crazy?

The one I have ( 1972 SerIII swb marine blue) only as it was when I saw it at the dealer brand new.

It would have to be my 109, completed and with a doormobile top installed.

Like others have said just give me my current fleet all running happily. If I MUST have a new one to add....Centaur.

I'm easy, I just want affordable disc brakes for my 109.

My stage 1 is good, but it would be great if it was sitting on a galvinised frame, disc brakes, still with its 4 doors but along with a full canvas roof and roll cage (much like some of the beach runner 110's ECR has been making.)
And for my 88, a 200 tdi, some parabolics, and volvo c303 axles and i'd be a happy guy. If i still had room in my garage, then i wouldn't mind trundling around town in a cuthbertson.

I would take a 130 crew cab with a 2.8 international that was tuned up enough to pull my other choice, a defender 110 hi-capacity pickup with 4:1 t-case gears, a 2.8 international and portak tek axles.

I'm with everyone else who said 'a running rig' - I'd be thrilled if Santa could bring me the skill set overnight that I'm working to develop over time, through bloody knuckles and trial and error :D but in reality thats the fun, right?

If were offered another rover, then it would be a tough call between an 1980's county 110 or a 1990's county Rangie
