Is there an easy way to install the rubber seal from the hardtop down onto the rim of the bed. Do you use adhesive in the grooved joint to hold it in place and do you mitre the back corners so it is squared up?

Thanks,
Jeff

Which seal are you talking about? The seal on the back door, the one between the side glass and the hard top, the ones under the side glass and the tub, or (last but not least) the seal for the doors?

Here is my bed before I removed the lip. You can see the rivet holes. Regular blind rivets will work...but i would suggest the sealed end blind rivets to keep some moisture out.

The series seal rivet into the "seal bed"...they have a metal track running on the inside of the seals. The defender seal will work fine but you will need to grind the lip off of the (to use the term again)...seal bed. Then push the defender seals over the lip.

Example....

Clint,
I was talking about the rubber seal that goes from the bottom of the hardtop side walls edges down to the top of the tub alongside the sides not at the doors.
