packing up for a road trip in the Rover... had an unexpected passenger.
I wanted to train it to look for falling parts and retrieve them

what you guys need is a brit/us dictionary

bird in us is a feathered flying rodent that craps on your freshly washed ride

bird in brit is a young lady of the hottie type

It is doing you a favour and eating the spiders.

My Series is full of cobwebs.

I need to get it listing to the side with a bird.

Carolina Wren, a spiders worst ememy!

They are usually pretty tolerant of people, if I leave my garage door open for more than 15 minutes, she'll come in an clean up the high corners!!

                  cheers

Don't waste your time training it to retrieve the parts that fall off. They're junk anyhow. Train it to retrieve the new replacement parts, preferably at night. It'll be cheaper in the end.

When I was a river guide some years back we used to always say anything dropped in the river and unretrievable was broken and no good, "I needed a new buck knife anyway."

In a similar note, I have heard, "Never have an expensive dive knife, that way you won't be tempted to retrieve it"

Carolina Wren, the loudest and chattiest bird per ounce in North America. My wife thinks it's cute when I call her "my little Carolina Wren"...she doesn't know birds too well.

Very cute, love those little wrens, but it would drive the dogs crazy in the truck
