I'll second that. Gordn is one of the good guys and knows Land Rovers very well.

I dont mean to jam Gordn, but most machine shops that do head work can handle your machining job and at a cheaper cost. Most repair shops send their machine work out, its just more cost effective and efficient that having machine tools in the shop. Call Gordn and around to the brit/european shops and see who they recommend, usually they will mention the same shop.

When I lived in Seattle I used a machine shop in Ballard near the Ness Crane yard. They machined anything, I mean anything.

I offer my wholehearted and enthusiastic concurrence with Mr. Parker and Ms. Wakeman's referral/endorsement of Gord'n Perrott at Lamorna Garage.:thumb-up::thumb-up::thumb-up:

He is in the middle of performing a frame swap on my wife's Series III 109 RHD 5 door including the installation of an Ashcroft R380 and 5 speed adaptor kit using the Chevy 250/Scotty's we have in our truck.

He knows Land Rovers inside and out and is, definitely, "one of the good guys."
