Anyone know what rules apply for importing Sankey trailers? I'd like to import one & PA Blanchard has a nice stock of newer ones (they aren't 25 years old) that they are willing to ship. I was wondering if the same importation rules apply to trailers as do to vehicles?

Jay,
It would be prudent to talk to the local DMV. They would offer the best advice.

Will do. I'm not so worried about the Colorado DMV as I am the Feds at the port of entry.

Did you find out if these trailers can be imported?

They can- but the cost of shipping one across the US proved prohibitive. I also decided to go another route- going to work with local fabricator to make my own overland trailer when I get the funds.

I would be all over this Les, but just bought a new house in the city...and my 4 car garage is being reduced to 2 :(
Thanks for throwing it out there- I'm sure someone will scoop up that Sankey- they are so cool and versatile!
