Thinking about buying

We are thinking about buying a VERY clean, well running '70 Series 5 door. I haven't looked at it in person, just pics. We are setting up a meeting with the couple after this weekend. The only reason they are selling it is that it is their only car and they have a new infant. Wife told him to get something safer. $6500 and I will post pics from home tonight. I'm HAPPY. This will make 3 Landies in the driveway. Two old, one '04 Disco. Oh, we took the '69 out offroading this weekend. DID AWESOME!!!! I will also post that video (not sideways) tonight on a new thread.:thumb-up:

Thanks, guys. I really want the blue one. I just hope when I really start looking at it, that nothing is too much to fix at the moment beforeChristmas. We would use it as a semi daily driver-we try to rotate all the cars equally. The '69 was my first old one. Absolutely love it. It handles great. That drive was about an hour there on the highway and we spent about 3 hours on the trails. That was just some playing around in the rock pit. I have more pics and vid, just no time tonight. It got a small dent under the door, but that's easy to pull off and bang out. Or just make a new one. I'll post more later.
