Sorry, this is the best pic I have at the moment. Anybody know what tailight this is? It doesn't look like the typical SIII NADA lens but it does say Lucas. I cracked one loading a canoe and pushing the CB antenna into it. But I can't find it in RN's catalog.

Nice lookin' hound!

I assume you are talking about the red lens. I suspect that our hosts have 'em. I believe it's a defender lens, or a late Series lens.

That's a USA market series 3 taillight lens. Unfortunately it's NLA from the usual suppliers.

FWIW, that's nothing at all like the original taillights on my NorthAmerican-market '72 SIII....

Galen216 I have a FREE one for you! All Im going to ask you is to pay me back shipping cost. I was given (paid only shipping) a few lens from a member here (TedW Thanks again!) and promised him to have the spare one he gave me free for anyone who would need one.

Pm me you mailing adress and I will ship it to you. I will also include the back plate/bulp socket with it. Once shipped I will pm you cost including my adress. The lens I have is not new but in good condition.

Martin.

Quebecois are the best. I would know, because right now I'm in Montreal.

Lens breakage is why I have the "chip fryer basket" lens protectors both front and back (see my avatar).

Thanks, I thought the NADA lenses were much more shallow. Every other NADA truck I have seen has a much more shallow lens. The must not be stock.

But Martin is my new hero!

..like those in the picture above, you can put a dab of clear epoxy on the inside (after cleaning, of course) and there will be no more cracking. At that spot, anyway.

Its funny cause the cracking does not go thru it. And its on the bottom part of it. I did not saw it at first. Only saw it after doing a fast cleaning under water.
