Over the past decade...Ive been dealing with and living with the pretty lame vacuum windshield wiper that the PO had installed on Sheila. Ever use a vacuum wiper? well, it stops dead when you accelerate. Speeds up when you coast. Pretty low powered, and it dosent exactly push snow.

A few days ago when I done my daily prowl of ebay for series land rover...lo and behold THIS showed up, freshly listed. And, with a BIN of $150. This Wiper motor had been taken apart, cleaned, tested, refinished, and was ready to go.

Some things on ebay I dont really ponder. The BIN couldnt have been hit quick enough! Today, it came and This baby looks like its brand new! Even the brass nuts are polished, and it has the little wire ground cable.

Oh Cheers Now I Can Drive In Foul Weather...and actualy SEE where Im going!

I hate eBay!!!!!!!

I keep buying parts I don't need just because the price is to good to pass up!!
I think the last one was a NIB Series II shifted and boot for $30 shipped?
And mine hasn't even broke off yet.

At least your going to but your purchase to work right way, not put it in the basement for a later maybe use?

I will have it installed by 9 AM tomorrow!

I know what you mean about parts...Ive got NOS studebaker parts I purchased in the mid 70's from one of the LAST surviving dealerships...still in the wrappers!

Ike Goss (http://www.pangolin4x4.com/pangolin4x4/products/products.html) had some of the NLA rubber seals made, I am sure he still has them.

Somewhere I have a bucket full of those wiper motors- I guess I should put them up on ebay!?
