Imagine my surprise when this little Porker decided to block my path today. Hah. what nerve. I chased that little bugger about 1/4 mile down the road before he decided to veer off into the cedar swamp.

Moose do the same thing too. Run down along the road instead of taking off to the side. Lucky you were in the Rover. Those little piggies get nasty when in close quarters.

Greasy: is there an overpopulation up there, and is that fairly common?

That area is about three miles out from town on an ancient railroad cut through the swamp. I've seen deer turkeys racoons and now this little black pig. Further back there are huge sand hills and some pretty clever forest driving tracks. I run about five miles of trails most every day. Being self employed has it's perks! Ps. Yup I love that new wiper it works great a heck of a lot better than that old vacuum rig that was on there

very cool. I've walked on that railroad w/ my parents. You can find lots of the old coal that was used for the railroad along the tracks.

Have you ever seen the ex-mod Series III in the area? I saw it fueling up in Medford Lakes....

Ummmm Probably not THIS railroad as it is only a railroad bed that was never actually completed. Runs north east out of egg harbor city NJ.

BTW Id love to hook up with any other Rover drivers in the area to do a little trail running.

hmm ok. yeah this was the already-burned coal (what's the name for that again?)

it was a few miles in from Atsion. Sounds like you're on the other side of the 'barrens :)

No pigs in the Pine Barrens of my area, but lots of jacka$$es on quads.
