mounting of coil?

Hello,
Am currently going thru the electrics and am going to install a new coil, should this be mounted with plugs facing up?? this one is currently mounted facing down... thought I read somwhere the oil filled coil should be facing up.

Mine always came facing down, Greg, on both of my Rovers.

facing down to let the water to drain when you go wading.

Good point about oil filled coils. I don't have a answer for that
