    best recovery options for front 2a 109

    I am going to install a tow jaw for the rear on my truck, wanted to get options for front recovery points what are available and what do most series use??

    The military land rovers used a pintle hook on the front bumper- you can also get those lifting/recovery eyes that fit atop the bumper.
    1965 SIIa 88",1975 Ex-MOD 109/Ambulance, 1989 RRC, blah, blah, blah...

      I used a tow jaw on the front for many years, worked great. Actually, i had two on the front. One on either side in line with the main chassis rails.

        If you use a pintle or tow jaw bolted to the face of the bumper, make sure you utilize appropriate reinforcing plates with them. Ike at pangolin 4x4 has bolt-on shackle brackets available as well as tow jaws (or you could just get one of his HD front bumpers with welded-on shackle brackets). Ike is very helpful, so I'm sure he could recommend/supply the appropriate reinforcing plates.
