Chassis Number

Could someone tell me where the Chassis number is located on a 95 4.0 SE. Is it part of the VIN?

Are you looking for the vin on the chassis? If so, it's on the outrigger in front of the right rear wheel.

It's the chassis number I'm trying to find.

I don't see anything there, is it on a plate or stamped into the chassis?

It is stamped on the RH outer chassis leg.
It should be the same as the tag on the LHF apeture on the windscreen glass.

Ok I think I get this. You guys mean the VIN number. I was looking for the chassis number. While tracking down parts they quote chassis number.

ie: Chassis number range through VA346793 or VA37657 for the 95 4.0SE or even VIN 2 & VIN 4.

With the vin number SALPV12485SA307225 do they mean the last six numbers of the VIN?
