    Going through Oil

I just replaced all the seals on my 97 RR 4.6 engine. Since then I have been burning more then I should. Oil light when on with only going a 1,000 miles. Any thoughts? Thank You.

Are you burning it or leaking it?

If burning you should see your Cats clog up soon, if leaking it... I would say time to find the leak. Just because all the seals have been replaced doesn't mean one isn't leaking.

No it's not leaking. I took it back for inspection, they didn't find anything.

If your burning... valve seals or piston ring issues.

          check your breather valve...

check your breather valve, also change your air filter to a high quality air filter. My son had a clogged up breather valve on his SUV, was burning oil rapidly. After fixing the problem, burning stopped, power restored.

Thank You. I don't see any gray smoke coming out of the tail pipe. I hope it's just Breather valve.
