I bought mine at Advance Auto or wal-mart. Any place that carries plugs but make sure you get the Euro style. I can't remember exactly what it does off the top of my head but it converts Euro style with different wiring to the American style with four wires. It is still simple to do yourself and costs about ~ $20 or so.

Thanks, I forgot to mention this will be for a standard flat 4 connector for the trailer lights...

you need a converter which changes the seperate brakes and tail lamps to a comon brake/tail lamp arrangement. RV supplys and most well stocked auto parts will have these. Tie into the wiring under the tub at the rear corners.

Look on discoweb or google how to do it for a land rover discovery, someone tells you which wires get spliced to what. I bought the converter from walmart for 15 bucks and did it it on my disco II. Look at atlantic britich for a picture of the converter for the disco (don't buy it for 100).

I used this type product and it works great and can be purchased at most local NAPA, Auto Zones, marine places like West Marine.

Hello all,
I am going to try and wire my 1971 88 for pulling a light boat trailer.

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct tail light converter before I order it?
