I have a few things left over from my recent restoration that are free for the taking, but you have to come get the parts. I am in East Granby, CT. If any of this stuff is completely useless, feel free to let me know and I'll junk it.

Here is what I have:
* 4 original springs from my S3 Lightweight. Front springs are in good shape, rears have some 'bowing' between leafs.
* A S3 rear axle case. In fairly decent shape, but it was weeping oil from the rear cover area.
* Hard top with fixed windows. No lift gate. No headliner, but someone glued grey indoor/outdoor carpeting to the inside.
* A Lightweight front bumper. It would be fairly nice with a little hammer & dolly work.
(Tires/wheels in pictures are not free.)

Here are a few more free things that hopefully someone can use.
* A really cool home-made fume curtain/cab isolator that came with my Lightweight. Made from plywood. The bottom half folds in half via a leather 'hinge'. The bottom may be specific to a Lightweight because of body differences. The top half has a plexiglas window and small brackets that were used to attach it to the inside of a civvy hardtop. Not sure if it could be used with a soft top or not.

* A brand new soft top window of some sort. Not exactly sure what it is.

They are in the "almost free" pile. They need to go. PM me - I'll let them go cheap.

As for the little yellow truck - well, my son & I have big plans for it. Maybe a little lift, some XZLs and a desert tan paint job!

Thanks again Jeff!

Your lightweight is amazing. I'm almost glad I didn't drive mine over as it's unworthy of such company. :o
