How much lift on the RN Parabolics?

Thinking about getting the RN parabolics but wonder if my truck would still fit in my garage afterwards. What amount of lift have people experianced using the RN parabolics? The GB says that the truck should sit 77.5" with 16" wheels. I have 235x85x16 muds on and I'm trying to clear my 80.5" door opening.

i got an easy 2" but that's the difference between real old stock and new paras on an 88 soft top

yea, right now I'm 77" at the highest but sag down to 75" near the end. I really could see myself putting these on over a long weekend and not being able to get out of the garage!

The other night I had my dash off replacing the speedo cable, after putting it all back together I started her up, put in reverse and started backing out only to find that I forgot to replace the steering wheel! So now I'm trying to think things thru a bit better.

Here is my experience with RN parabolics and my Lightweight.

Factory spec for height w/ 6.00x16 tires = 77"
Height now = 80"

I changed from 6.00x16 (29" dia) to 7.50x16 tires (32" dia). This resulted in 1.5" of height increase (roughly, maybe a little less due to sidewall deflection). So, the other 1.5" came from the springs. Remember that this is a soft top, but the Lightweight weighs a little more than the civvy version.

HA HA - did a Rockey Mountain parabolic swap on my 109 and had to let the air out of the tires to get the truck out of the garage!

My solution was simple... Knock the garage down, build a new one with a 1' taller garage door...

thanks guys for the information, looks like I'll be able to fit. I do like the above solution, then I can eventually get a rack!

And only the British would make a "lightweight" heavier than it's civie equivalent.
