Even though I've been working on Rovers for a number of years, this will be my first time upgrading one to off road capable. It's a 98 Disco I. I'm gonna start by doing head gaskets, front cover gaskets, rebuilding the oil cooler lines. You know, fixing the usual leaks. My question is this: this will be a daily driver and family hauler for camping trips covering hundreds of miles. I'm thinking of a medium duty 2" lift, but would like the option of adding a brush bar & winch at a later point. Anyone have any experience of adding a lift of this sort? Wanted to see if anyone had done anything similair and what would you have done differently or the same.
