I have a buddy asking me about a 'good deal' on a 1995 Range Rover. The owner says that the battery went dead and the anti-theft protection kicked in and disabled the engine (hence the warning light on the dash).
My buddy is asking my if this sounds plausible and what it takes to fix it?
Since I own a Series, my anti-theft equipment is not as sophisiticated as that on the Rangie. So I turn you the Range Rover owners for help.
