Series 2.25L Engine Pricing

What should a used 2.25L gas engine sell for? Ran great just before it was removed. It is mostly complete. I have person interested and have no idea what to price it at. Thanks

If this is any help my 2.25 gas engine with a dead 4th cylinder, electronic distributor, a Weber 34ICH carb, and a spin on oil filter netted me a $300.00 credit towards my engine conversion. It would seem to me that a solid engine should be worth at least twice as much.
