Proline wins. The welds are cleaner, the frames open which makes them more accessible for painting/galvanizing and they're lighter. Neither bends easily. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Thanks for posting, as a new buyer of old LR stuff I've wondered how the proline stuff matches up to stock. I've found in other aftermarket parts for other cars that it is often better since the aftermarket company can address some of the bugs in the original designs.

I read here or on another forum that the Proline fuel pump was prefered over the LR and at half the price.
