View Full Version : IIA 4X4 Control Lever (Yellow Knob)

The 4X4 control lever (yellow knob) on my '67 IIA is depressed and seems to have locked the 4-wheel drive. It does not want to pull up, at least not easily.
Any suggestions as to what might be the problem and how to rectify?

Put the red lever back into low and pull up the yellow knob at the same time. It should either pop up on its own or come up if you are pulling on it. If it doesn't I would first check underneath and look for something stuck and blocking the mechanism.
