Is the Lucas 380 the same as the standard American 1157?

Recalling from my remembery, I think they are the same. An 1157 base bulb will work. Whether it is the same wattage is another question. I have replaced them in the past and they seem to do the job.:thumb-up:

1157 is universally, the accepted replacement 12v stop/tail for vehicles, and will surely work in a Rover world.
