WING PANELS UNAVAILABLE?

I mangled my left front wing panel on the IIA a few weeks ago and it appears none are available at our hosts or from the other usual suspects. A friend in the U.K reports UK vendors also no stock. I suspect this relates to the Canadian radiator company SPS? closing their UK pressings plant which has been the only manufacturer of late. I have a usable used one but wonder if anyone knows a source of new?

I have heard of new plastic replacements which sound appealing but know nothing about them. Les mentioned them last fall at All Metal Dash. I think one of the regulars on this forum may have purchased one. Maybe he will speak up.

I have all new body panels except the wings so I am also looking for left and right new ones for a 68 series iia. If anyone knows a source for new ones please let us know.

I do have a pair for the a 1970 series iii is anyone is interested.

Ike Goss had a brand new one last I knew. I recently bought one of the plastic ones from the UK. Haven't painted it or put it on the truck yet so I can't really comment on the fit or finish.

i'm waiting for the one-piece abs series body. imagine, 4 quick releases, one on each corner and the whole sereis abs body lifts off.

I'm curious about these as well. Do they attach the same as the regular metal panels, and how do they compare? I have awful visions of the whole panel flapping like a sail once the vehicle is at speed. Not to mention denting in if you ever leaned against it.
