Need a description of where in a Series III dash the trip odometer reset button should be mounted. Thanks.

Right Between the eyes!

Small mounting hole between the two major gauges - top center.

Steen, whats the red button in the upper left corner of your dash do? It looks as if it might explode, eject something...

Steen- You could get some serious oil leak running for long periods at the 7800 redline. You will probably want to run a bit under 7000 to prolong engine life. :eek:

7800 rpm :eek: It's an universal instrument, the cheapest I could get my hands on :rolleyes: works okay though.

:p But I never exceed 3000 rpm, I have a Ashcroft High ratio transferbox, so when I drive at around 55 mph (my usual top-speed) my engine only spins with approx. 2300 rpm :) nice
