    Toro overdrive

    Hello
Does anyone have an exploded diagram of the toro overdrive, or any info on them. I've been given on in bits it all looks in good order except for one thrust bearing, are these available?

    Any help much appreciated

    thanks Mark

    Mark,

Al Tosi at DAP used to be the distributer of those units, give him a ring.

Sorry I don't have the number handy, but do a search on DAP and he'll pop up.

    G'luck

I believe the Toro is the same or very similiar to the Fairey but with a larger case that held a (needed) bigger oil supply.

Toro is the same as the Santana overdrive.

        Different from Fairey.

          Toro-Santana

I remember Toro o/d's being sold at one time by Bearmach in the UK. I wrote to Santana once about my Toro, and they told me that Santana and Toro were not the same. I believe Ike at Pangolin 4x4 has a used Toro with an owner's manual for sale, and he might have a parts diagram with it. Jim Hall has a page on it, too:
