Was it a stripped down to the bulkhead Red 88 ? I had seen a started project, with new bulkhead painted red on eBay a few weeks back (link below). He wanted way too much for the state he was selling it, and believe the auction ended unsold. Could be it got picked up if sounds like that...

I was going 75 in the other direction, I didn't get a real good look.
