Anyone know where I can find a new Emission Control Data plate for a SIII? Mine's seen better days, but I didn't see one in the Rovers North catalogue; thought maybe someone might know of a place that sells replicas.

Thanks,
Ben

That's about what mine looks like.... maybe not quite that bad, but.....

AFAIK, RN doesn't have the replacement commission plates, so I had to get mine from British Pacific.

They have a lot of the different plates, but I don't know about that one in particular, it's not in the catalog that I see... might call and ask...

FWIW....

I've never seen one of those before. Were they standard on the NADA models? After 1973, I assume?

No, mine's actually a 72. Although I'm not certain what caused the large rubbing arear near the top, there's a funny story (not funny when I'm in the process of body work) about the holes in the bottom right. The last owner told me how the first owner had a problem with having his battery stolen TWICE at a small airport. So he simply installs a pad lock from the bonnet to the grill. Funny thing is, he didn't bother to open the bonnet before he drilled the holes, hence the holes and gash in the plate! So, if anyone out there decides to "padlock" their bonnet, please learn from this older gentlemen's error.
