Hello,
Hope someone can enlighten me on why my transmission is grinding going into each gear.
I spent a small fortune having the gearbox rebuilt last fall. It seemed to grind a little going into second gear after I got it back. I was told that was normal???? (that it would work its way through in time). Well it did not(ofcourse) and has gotten worse. Tends to grind going into every gear unless I shift at low RPMs. I replaced the clutch master cylinder(it had a slight leak), but that did nothing to stop the tough shifting and grinding. Someone mentioned throw-out bearing???(clutch and pressure plate were supposedly replaced when the rebuild was done) I am hoping for some advice in this area.
