how much lift do I have

I purchased my defender 90 2 months ago and have been slowly building it up to do some trail driving. The person who imported and sold the D90 told me that it had a 2" lift.(30"wheels) I just got back from a trip to Colorado where I got into a d90 with a 3' lift 32'tires with no problems. It seems you have to climb way up to get into mine. Is there a place where I can take a measurement and compare to what the stock height should be. Just real curious as to what I have under there. This is my first posting so any info is greatly appreciated
