Welcome to the Bugeye bunch! Good luck on the resto, but it does look like its all there and certainly deserving of restoration. Plus I'm partial to the color. Post pics as the restoration comes along.

    Hello All,
Wanted to introduce a new Bugeye to the registry
I picked this one up in British Columbia last week. It has been sitting since 1996 but seems to have been well stored. Needs all new hydraulics and the usual bring back from the dead stuff, but all in all in good shape.

This is on a lot on Long Island, I think a Sandy flood writeoff. Body looks great and from the pics, the bulkhead looks realy good too. 44k miles!?

sweet, someone might get a good deal and have lots of nice parts for their project..

    Revtor,

Thanks so much. Ive been working on it since December. Took it out today for a 1 1/2 hour drive, ran great. I may put a Tru Trac on the rear with a 23 spline axel. We'll have to see. I live near Bill Davis of GBR and would probably have hime help me on that one as he has done so many of them. I'll keep in touch with all of the Bug Eye Registry.

Hey, my brakes were a LOT dicey and it turns out that my brake servo (vacuum assist) was leaking badly and providing no boost. I got a replacement and now my brakes are 200% better. If your vac line can be taken off the servo with no change to the engine running, and no change to your braking performance, then your servo is toasted.

    good luck!

I love it. It looks like it just rolled off the lot. I'm a newbie, so not sure how to describe it. Paint looks almost brand new, no dents, no rust (except minor on the leaf springs). The brakes are a little dicey, looks like I may need to replace the master cylinder. There's also an oil leak near the bellhousing, so I'm going to have to go under and take a look. But, all in all, it runs.
