[QUOTE=Brian Holmes;72140]Bought my first Brit car, a Morris 1000 2 door, in 1959. Bought the Disco in June of '94 and drove home from the dealer as OJ was making his slow run down the LA freeway. Bought the 69 2A in June of '99 and the series 1 in Dec. 01. Longest owned vehicle is 65 Volvo Canadian purchased new and now sitting in garage awaiting resto. Daily driver is 86 240 Volvo (owned since new) approaching 400,000 miles.
    Cheers,

1960 Series II since May 2008
    1997 Defender 90 since July 2010

At this time I own no other cars.
I don't plan on selling either until I can no longer drive them - and then I will pass them to my nephew. I am addicted.

First (2) Rovers were '86 S1s that my daughters drove (1 of) to high school. That was '93 to '99. Second one, a '72 S3 purchased trashed by PO in 2005, have had it ever since.

First British vehicle was a 74 MGB (last of the chrome bumpers), which I still regret selling. Bought the Rover about three years ago. After spending the first two years tinkering and putting on band-aids I'm now in the process of a full rebuild on a new frame and with a rebuilt 300tdi. In another three years or so I might even be able to drive her again!

Speaking of, anybody want to buy a butchered 109 frame and a worn out 2.25 diesel?

I bought my 1960 Series II 88 in June of 1975. Did a complete mechanical restoration (and lots of upgrades) for its 50th birthday.

My first Rover was purchased in 1970 and I owned it until 1976. My current Rover was purchased in 2006 and except for a few weak moments have no intention of parting with it any time soon.

My first Rover purchase was back sometime in the late 80's either '87 or '88 if I remember correctly. It was my '65 109. Didn't get to drive her til 96.

    The '69 p-up was purchased in '98 I think.

    Had the '66 88 since 2005

The oldest receipt I can find is dated 04/13/1999. So at least 12 years and 2 months. Though it has aged me well beyond that.....

My last fun vehicle was an 89' Land Cruiser FJ62.
