I have been having some issues with my charging system. I think the alternator is shot. The battery is getting a constant 12.5 volts, but under any sort of load the battery is dipping to 11.5 ish. Sounds pretty textbook...
I also noticed that there is a hum coming from the alternator even when the car is off. Any ideas? Does any one respin or refurb these in the Boston area?
